HerConstans operates as a private counsel and advisory office. The practice exists to provide a composed, intelligent, and confidential presence within the lives of a limited number of women whose professional or personal circumstances require discretion, continuity, and sound judgment.
Engagements are advisory in nature and defined by trust, discernment, and professional restraint.
HerConstans is not a public service. It is an independent practice accepting a small number of engagements at any one time.
The Nature of Engagement
Retained Presence & Accompaniment
Certain engagements require more than intermittent counsel. They require continuity of presence.
Where appropriate, HerConstans works with a small number of women on a retained basis, offering discreet personal accompaniment alongside confidential counsel. This may include attendance at social or professional engagements, shared meals, travel, or periods of close proximity during demanding seasons of life. On occasion this may also include overnight stays as part of extended accompaniment.
HerConstans’ presence is always defined by role rather than function and does not engage for performance, display, or entertainment, but as a steady, grounded presence. HerConstans is relied upon to hold context, discretion, and moral clarity in both private and public settings.
All engagements are conducted within clear ethical boundaries. There is no sexual dimension, no expectation of intimacy, and no blurring of roles. The nature and extent of accompaniment is established by mutual understanding and reviewed as the relationship develops.
This form of engagement is selective, long-term, and retainer-based. It is suited to women for whom discretion, continuity, and trusted personal presence are essential and absent.

Accompaniment or shared presence may form part of the engagement and may occur in social or professional settings, in private or public contexts, over shared meals, or during travel. On occasion this may involve overnight stays. In all cases, presence is undertaken strictly in role defined by professional judgment and ethical restraint, conducted in accordance with the strict boundaries as outlined above.
